  15. It is noticed in the documentation of Shapeshifter that using a 1 MB ROM with an
  16. 68030/50 ist not recommendet, because it's only a waste of 512 kB memory.

  18. Nevertheless I compared the speed of an 512 kB ROM with the speed of an 1 MB ROM
  19. using "Speedometer" and I found out, that the 1 MB ROM is much faster in
  20. mathematical calculations. All other categories are the same. Maybe the newer
  21. 1 MB ROM makes better use of my FPU (68882/50)?

  23. Conclusion: If you have both a legal 512 kB and a 1 MB ROM and you have enough
  24. RAM that you can afford it - try the 1 MB ROM for speed...
